Babywearing is beneficial for both you and your child for many reasons – including bonding, convenience and safety. Come and learn about the different types of carriers and which might be a good fit for your family. We will have several different carriers available for you to try, too!

This class is designed for three-to-six year-olds that are about to become a big sibling. Children will start by crafting a special sign to welcome their new baby, followed by the children introducing us to their new baby brother or sister (in Mom’s belly!). We’ll watch a short film about what they can expect when baby joins the family and have circle time where your child will be able to practice holding a baby doll, swaddling and being gentle. We’ll read a story about new babies and the big feelings that a sibling can have and end with a certificate of completion for the new big brother or sister!
The Bradley Method is way for a woman and her coach (partner) both participate fully using natural labor techniques. It is a simple method of increasing self-awareness, teaching you how to deal with the stress of labor. Bradley teachers urge couples to find what is comfortable for them in labor. Instead of seeking to control the sensations of labor with distraction methods, The Bradley Method encourages you to trust your body using natural breathing combined with relaxation.
One of the key ingredients for a successful breastfeeding experience is education! Learn techniques that will help you both get off to a good start and avoid common problems. Topics include latch and positioning, knowing when and how much to feed your baby, and how to know that baby is getting enough. Partners are welcome and encouraged to join you!
Many new moms worry that continuing to breastfeed once they return to work will be too difficult. It can be done! Gain confidence and learn that with a little planning, you can successfully continue breastfeeding well beyond maternity leave.

This is the ideal refresher class for a couple welcoming another child. This 3 hour class will give both you and your birth partner the confidence to know just what to do and when and how to do it. No matter what kind of birth you envision you’ll be able to labor without anxiety or worry. Be comfortable and confident as you welcome your new little one into your family!
The skills covered in this class include: adult, child, & infant (pediatric) CPR, choking for the conscious and unconscious victim, and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Each participant will receive a course completion card valid for two years. This course is ideal for schools and students, new parents, grandparents, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save a life.
Designed to be taken during the first trimester of pregnancy, this one-session class help you understand and prepare for the physical and emotional changes you can expect in the first three months of your pregnancy. We will discuss common discomforts and remedies, prenatal screening tests, and fetal development. We will also offer tips for eating well, staying active, and keeping you and your baby healthy. Take this class early in your first trimester.

Exercise is an important component to your pregnant well being, as well as your strength as a new mom. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), exercise is just as important during pregnancy as any other time of life.
Regular activity such as Fit4Baby® classes can help to reduce many maternal aches and pains, increase energy during pregnancy and may speed the labor, delivery and recovery process.

Join us for our Breastfeeding Support Group! This group is open to all mothers in the community and is facilitated by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. We meet every Tuesday and Friday to provide encouragement and foster a sense of community. Registration is not required and the class is free.
Join other new and expectant parents to learn about doula services. Information includes an overview of what doulas do, the benefits of doula services, and how to find the right doula for you. Birth and postpartum doulas from the community participate to answer parents’ questions. Time will also be provided for parents to meet individually with doulas.

Yoga classes that inspire mothers-to-be to unite breath and movement. Classes begin with gentle stretches, and warm-ups, followed by Vinyasa flows and poses that align both uterus and baby, strengthen and stretch, help pregnant mothers be more comfortable, and relieve back pain. You will work hard but then you get to relax and nurture yourself and take those precious moments to bond with your growing baby.
