This week, August 1 through 7 is World Breastfeeding Week. The World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) coordinates and organizes this week to raise awareness of the links between breastfeeding and the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. These 17 goals are aimed at ending poverty, protecting the planet and ensuring prosperity. The fact that our world leaders are finally recognizing that breastfeeding is a key resource to bettering the world is pretty remarkable and worth celebrating.

To celebrate, we are sharing our favorite resources about breastfeeding. Check out our Infographic to learn about where you can turn for breastfeeding support. We are always here to help direct you where you need to be. Still, it doesn’t hurt to rely on outside resources to verify, learn more, and grow your community.
